A Trip To The Darkside

Director Christopher Nolan, reuniting with "Batman Begins" star Bale, told The Associated Press earlier this year that Ledger came through with precisely what he had envisioned for this take on the Joker, "a young, anarchic presence, somebody who is genuinely threatening to the establishment."

"It was though they'd taken the Joker and all the colors, everything of it, and just kind of put him through a Turkish prison for a decade or so," Bale told the AP. "It's like he's gone through that personal hell to come out being this, if you can even call him mad, at the end here."

No wonder Heath Ledger was on prescription drugs. He was "having trouble sleeping", trying to escape the depths of hell to which he traveled for yet another Satanic film from our cultural engineers.

What Do They Know That We Don't?

A few weeks ago, three prominent neurosurgeons told CNN interviewer Larry King that they did not hold cell phones next to their ears. Dr. Keith Black, Dr. Vini Khurana, and CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta all maintained that the practice could be unsafe.

Keeping You On A Short Leash

A Rhode Island school district has announced a pilot program to monitor student movements by means of radio frequency identification (RFID) chips implanted in their schoolbags. The Middletown School District, in partnership with MAP Information Technology Corp., has launched a pilot program to implant RFID chips into the schoolbags of 80 children at the Aquidneck School. Each chip would be programmed with a student identification number, and would be read by an external device installed in one of two school buses. The buses would also be fitted with global positioning system (GPS) devices.
How long before this "program" is extended to all citizens?

Intelligent People Need Not Apply

A federal judge in Connecticut dismissed a discrimination lawsuit filed by a man who was barred from the New London police force because he scored TOO HIGH on the intelligence test.

Perhaps this policy explains why police officers these days do not seem to know that that America has a Constitution. "No unreasonable searches and...huh...seizures..."

Stupid Goyim

Employees of Israeli IM company Odigo were warned of 9/11 attack two hours before it happened. But anyone could have received text messages with the warning.

Israeli military bulldozer crushes and kills American peace activist, Rachel Corrie. But it was an accident. They didn't see her. It was her fault for being there.

With "friends" like this, who needs enemies?

Tramps In The City

Never watched the show. Have no intention to spend my hard-earned dollars on the movie.

But the fact that the story of a group of whores going shoe-shopping is wildly popular speaks volumes about the intellectual caliber of America today. We need help.
