A City Without Billboards

In 2007, the world's fourth largest metropolis and Brazil's commercial capital, Sao Paolo, became the first city outside the communist world to put into effect a near-complete ban on outdoor advertising.

Can you imagine if only America's major cities started following suit? Have you ever paid attention to how much visual pollution there is on any given stretch of highway?

  1. Really there is no need to 'advertise' any thing. A pure information of available consumer products that is strictly controlled, in a non-profit society will work in the future.
The concepts of advertising were developed as a result of information gleaned from the dynamics of propaganda.
In fact the person, (Freud's nephew), who first came up with the term public relations, acknowledged that the word itself 'public relations', was just a new term for the word propaganda, and the new word was used because of the baggage of the old word.

North Americans are viewed as cogs that are directed to one trough or another for various things. With a money system of doing business this view will remain, as Americans, as all humans are gullible and can be manipulated with deceit and trickery.
'Never give a sucker an even break'
is the mantra of Price System dollar making.
