Imagine the profits to be made on a war between India and Pakistan.
Control of lucrative pipelines that run through Pakistan (between Iran and India).
Perhaps this is why the empire, to be continued during the Obama Administration, has indicated there will be a renewed focus of the bogus war on terror on Afghanistan.

The problem is that Lashkar enjoys non profit status in Pakistan and has members who are in many high level positions there. Lashkar also does a lot of charitible work there. It will be difficult to get rid of them and for once I am saying we need to leave this whole thing alone. I only found out about Lashkar from NPR. Who is to say that they are accurately reporting the facts? Seems like all our media is controlled by sickos, so who can we believe? As a Pakistani citizen I might believe that Lashkar is the greatest thing since sliced bread and my local media may reflect this. So I am almost to the point of saying, let India and Pakistan do what they do and leave us and the UN out of it.

Good point FAR. From what I understand, a lot of the CIA's programs are financed through the drug trade. Gary Webb's Dark Alliance is a brilliant expose on the CIA's role in the explosion of crack cocaine in America.
